Easylength is a simplified software module, which allows the user to carry out track length measurements without the considerable investment of time in carrying out mount alignments, zero reference point location, Windows file housekeeping, etc.

An important characteristic of this module is that the data generated with the use of this module cannot be revisited, as no locating points are stored. If revisiting the data is important, the user should use the normal Trakscan software.

The important advantage (and the whole reason why we developed this module at the request, and with the help, of two FTD groups in Germany), is that it is possible to quickly characterise a given grain to see if it is suitable for the full (and more time-consuming) processing procedure.
